News on HS2 in Kilburn & Northolt

We are developing a more detailed design for Phase One of the railway, following the appointment of our main works contractors. The design process helps us to plan and prepare for the construction of Britain’s new high speed railway.

A key aspect of this process is making the community aware of our work and seeking their views on certain structures or parts of the railway known as ‘Key Design Elements’. This includes the Mandeville Road Ventilation Shaft. As the Mandeville Road Ventilation Shaft is a significant structure, we want it to respect its surroundings and the local area as much as possible.
