News on HS2 in Kilburn & Northolt

As part of HS2s preparatory works, Barhale will be continuing to install new water mains in the Northolt area in January 2020. This will consist of digging trenches and laying new water main pipes.

Continuation of works on Mandeville Road

Work continues on Mandeville Road up to 20th December 2019 , installing new water mains. This work will pause across the Christmas break, between 20th December 2019 and 6th January 2020.

Traffic management will be kept to a minimum during this break to allow traffic to flow as freely as possible on Mandeville Road.

From 6th January 2020 work will continue on the junction of Carr Road and Mandeville Road to finalise the pipe connection. This work is due to be completed by 10th February 2020 , when the end of Carr Road will reopen.

Continuation of works on Carr Road

From 6th January 2020 work will continue on Carr Road, laying new water mains on the south side of the road between Briar Crescent and Ribblesdale Avenue.

This section of Carr Road will be closed to traffic. Diversions will be in place and residents will be able to access Carr Road via Castle Road and Briar Crescent or Oriel Way.

This section will be completed by 10th February 2020 .
