News on HS2 in Kilburn & Northolt

We are working closely with our construction partners to review the works on all our construction sites in line with Government and Public Health England (PHE) advice on dealing with Covid-19. The Government’s current Covid-19 strategy makes clear that construction activity can continue as long as it complies with this guidance, which you can see by clicking here .

The below works are going ahead as our contractors are confident that they can operate in line with PHE and industry guidance, protecting our staff and the communities in which they are working.

Affinity Water utility works on Cherry Walk, Northolt

As part of our preparation for the new railway, Barhale are carrying out work, on behalf of Affinity Water, to install new water mains on Carr Road.

Barhale will undertake some work at the end of Cherry Gardens to cut off and cap an old water main.

Work will start on 11 May and will be completed by 15 May 2020.

Update: ongoing utility surveys on Canterbury Terrace, Canterbury Road and Brondesbury Villas

We will carry out overnight utility surveys on Canterbury Terrace, Canterbury Road and Brondesbury Villas between 11 and 15 May. The surveys will take place between 9pm and 5am.
