News on HS2 in Kilburn & Northolt

Update:

Our notification in December 2020, advised that works would be ongoing during January to June 2021.

Works are required for excavation of a cable trench within the HS2 SCS site at Canterbury Road during the coming weekend. The area will be fenced off and acoustic barriers will be installed to limit noise impacts. The work, in partnership with our contractor Modus Utilities, is needed to provide a new electricity connection for the HS2 Project.

Works will be undertaken on the following dates:

Saturday (23/01/21)

• Excavate cable trench within site boundary

• Install ducts within trench

• Backfill trench with sand & stone

Sunday (24/01/21)

• Concrete trench

• Remove spoil
