News on HS2 in Kilburn & Northolt

From 23 November for five weeks we will be carrying out power connection works, including the installation of a substation. These works will be confined to our site compound area, along the access road to the Mandeville Road vent shaft site compound.

Scottish and Southern Energy will remove the road surface along the site access road and excavate a trench to install cables and ducts. This will allow the construction of the substation.

You may see people and equipment operating on site. The initial digging/breaking out of the road surface will be the noisiest activity, although this will be intermittent and not continuous. Dust control measures will be in place.

These works will not affect your electricity supply.
